Европейский вещательный союз
Является объединением европейских и мировых служб вещания со штаб-квартирой в Женеве и техническим центром в Брюсселе, обеспечивает программами членов союза, в том числе и Евровидение.
EBU - крупнейшая профессиональная ассоциация национальных вещателей в мире. В союзе состоят 74 активных члена из 54 стран Европы, Северной Африки и Ближнего Востока, и 44 ассоциированных члена из 25 стран.
EBU был основан в феврале 1950 западноевропейскими радио- и телевизионными вещателями. в В 1993 EBU объединился с OIRT - своим аналогом в Восточной Европе.
Работая от имени своих членов на территории Европы, EBU договаривается о правах на вещание значимых спортивных мероприятий, управляет сетями Евровидение и Еврорадио, организовывает обмены программами, стимулирует и координирует совместные производства, обеспечивает широкий спектр эксплуатационных, коммерческих, технических, юридических и стратегических услуг.
EBU работает в тесном сотрудничестве с аналогичными союзами на других континентах.

European organization which is the world's largest confederation of national broadcasters. It includes 75 broadcasting organizations from 56 countries in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. The headquarters are in Geneva, Switzerland.
